  Awful customer service from the man with glasses. He has such an appalling attitude! The man was annoyed with the fact that i was taking a few minutes to choose a cake for my son's birthday, it's not like the shop was busy, just me trying to order.
Really discusting attitude to the end, that man seems like a misoginistic coward, who wouldn't treat me like that if i was with my husband. Also racist vibes from that guys, i will never go there ever again and off course i will make sure to not recommend this place.

  I bought Black Forest Gateau at The Cakery. It was actually labelled "Black Forest Ghetto", which is wrong in more ways than one, but, once I tasted it, I realised it was spot on.

The cakes *look* delicious, I'll give them that. So I bought 2 gateaux... and they were the worst disappointment. CHEAP! Cheap, basic, flavourless ingredients; the sponge was dry and flavourless like cardboard; the cream had no flavour at all, and there were no cherries in sight. In short: a dry, awful cake made with the cheapest possible ingredients, designed to *look* good, but not taste good, unfortunately. Perhaps other cakes are better? Maybe...

The saving grace of the second star is for the service. The salesperson I talked to was super nice and helpful, and just lovely.

  I ordered a birthday cake with coloured   Whipped cream THE AMOUNT OF THE COLOUR WAS ENORMOUS the cream was bitter and the colour was not easily removed  from anywhere ! Not recommended
